Question:
I have been wanting to put an all around workbench in my garage. I
want to be able to mount it on the wall so I can fold it up if I need
a second car in the garage. I also want to be able to have a peg
board or such on the wall so when I fold up the workbench, all the
tools are nice put away and hidden. I will probably set the bench up
to so I can have an electrical outlet mounted somewhere on the wall or
bench. I have been told there are plans for something like this out
there but I haven't found anything yet. Lowes an HD don't seem have
anything and the only prefab thing I know of is a rubbermaid one that
I have heard of but I kind of think that would be way too flimsy.
Anyway if anyone out there has plans for something like this, I love
to see them. I figure if not I will just sit down and figure out the
measurements but since I am not experience in this, I would rather
have some proven plans before I start cutting wood.
Answer:
Lowes is spending big bucks on their mega-stores.
If you can find a smaller, older Lowes that is being
replaced by one a few miles away,
un-by-God-believable bargains can be had. I just saw
their economy workbench kit on sale for $49US. You
may be able to adapt it.
