I have just about all of these guys on my desk. What scale is the mini Yukikaze
(Mamoru Kodai's ship), and was there a larger model of it?
Answer:
No stated scale, it's tricky because there aren't really reputable stats
for length/width/height.
Based on the window size and the apperent scale of people visable in the
show itself, I'd *guess* it's around 1/500 scale, *maybe* 1/700.
No larger injection plastic kit made, sadly. I seem to recall there was a
resin/white metal Garage Kit made back around 1994. Can't recall who, I
*thought* it was WAVE...gee, that would be cool stuff to reissue in the
'inexpensive injection kit' thing they've got going...there was a 1/700
Gamilas Tri-deck carrier, Domeru's bigass flagship....probably others, all
timed to the release of Yamato TV on LD...gaa, where's those old Hobby
Japans, time to look those ads up
