I have a few new lift master garage door openers, that randomly change
the code every time you use it, and i am looking for a way to extend
the range of it, so i dont have to get up so close to it and wait for
it to open evey time.
Answer:
You can install an external antennae, which are sold in kits by Liftmaster.
This is something that should help, but involves running an antennae wire
through the wall, which sometimes involves drilling, etc. You can also add
windows to your door if it is steel and solid, thus creating a barrier for
the signal. Liftmaster, and everybody elses controls for that matter, are
all weaker than crap compared to the radios we were used to in the past.
